Our developmentally appropriate curriculum is designed to foster the social, emotional, intellectual, spiritual and physical needs as well as the interests of the children we serve.

Educational Philosophy:

Kidsworld International Academy provides children with caring, safe and secure environment that supports a child-center curriculum.The environment is carefully planned based on assessment of the children skills. Our teaching staff creates an atmosphere of support and affection as well as provides the materials, equipment and activities required to optimize the experience of each child. Our program has “interest centers” in every classroom, these center include: art, dramatic play, manipulative or small motor skills, gross motor play, sand, water and books with a strong emphasis on: science, tools, engineering, math and literacy.

Because of the variety of materials, children can learn several different skills in each center. A sense of responsibility and powerfulness is also promoted by allowing children the opportunities to choose their own activities.

The Value of Play: “Let them play and they will learn”

We strongly believe in the value of play. Young children are sponges for learning, they learn faster than at any other time in life. But they learn differently than older children and adults. A great body of research support the notion that young children learn best while doing, experimenting and recreating.

The best early childhood education is subtle. The best teacher of young children acts like a coach who creates play experiences that are rich in learning opportunities, who interjects knowledge into play experiences seamlessly using a model that looks little or nothing like formal education.
